I wish I could buy the game on PSN, but I want Mario Kart 8 along with a Club Nintendo deal D:

EDIT: Also there is DLC I will have to get too, such as the Wallace Pack (just for Online Multiplayer).

Reply Spar Elric, July 18th, 2014, 6:29 pm

I enjoy playing that game too. :)

Reply Quirby64_:D, July 20th, 2014, 9:00 pm

@hitkid96fan: The game DOES have online without the Wallace Pack, but it's only for the 1st level.

Reply hitkid96fan, July 20th, 2014, 11:49 pm

@Quirby64_:D: Okay than. Also random time for a short story time.

Once upon a time, I had two kids visit, we played this game. We played on the hardest difficulty and got a little far until we got swarmed by enemies. And I was playing as Red-Shirt Scott! :D

Just found out about the Ultimate Edition of Scott Pligrim. It costs one dollar less than buying the game and the DLCs separately!

Back at this now. Quirby... first off, did you watch the movie? If you didn't read the comics or watch the movie, you won't understand the premise of the story.

Reply Quirby64_:D, October 24th, 2014, 11:06 pm

@hitkid96fan: Actually, no. Neither the comics. I just played the game with no idea about the series and loved it still. XP

Reply hitkid96fan, October 24th, 2014, 11:31 pm

@Quirby64_:D: Well be glad the game takes more from the comics than the movie. Still a bare-bones version of the story with some parts of the story changed because you can play as everybody else and handle Scott's problem.

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 6:52 pm

I wonder if Quirby knows that the game is essentially discontinued as the game cannot be purchased anymore due to expiring licenses.
I only lucked out by having already bought it and still installed on my PlayStation 3.

@hitkid96fan: welp
rip in peace

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 7:08 pm

@Quirby64_:D: Hope you got a download list on whatever you play on.

Reply Quirby64_:D, June 29th, 2016, 7:11 pm

@hitkid96fan: sadly not, my brother deleted the account that originally purchased it, because he wanted his to be the one that does that...
so uh basically I'm screwed. :p

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 7:13 pm

@Quirby64_:D: On what?
And do you mean console profile or literally the online account?

Reply Quirby64_:D, June 29th, 2016, 7:15 pm

@hitkid96fan: The console profile, on his PS3. I have no clue where the online account is, though I think it was to my bro's email that it was registered with?

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 7:16 pm

@Quirby64_:D: Well the PSN account will have the game on the download list along with any DLC if purchased. Just don't bother with Online Gameplay. That's hosed now from what I heard.

Reply Quirby64_:D, June 29th, 2016, 7:17 pm

@hitkid96fan: I need to ask him about it, it would be definitely be nice to have that stuff back, because along with the other purchases on that account were Castle Crashers and some Gran Turismo 5 DLC.

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 7:20 pm

@Quirby64_:D: Also don't worry about profile issues. As long as it is installed, it will play no matter what profile is being used.
Also you might want to get your own PSN account but seeing as how your profile got deleted... Take some time I guess.

Reply Quirby64_:D, June 29th, 2016, 7:26 pm

@hitkid96fan: my bro deleting the profile was a while ago tbh, and sure enough, the games...are...NOT there. When I asked him he said "oh the profile got corrupted" so I don't know if that's the problem or something else entirely.

rip

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 7:30 pm

@Quirby64_:D: So the console profile got corrupted and the PlayStation Store didn't show the game on its download list? Bad luck.
EDIT: The corrupted profile shouldn't affect a game tied to the PSN account though so that isn't the problem.

Also I checked right now and the PlayStation Store is giving me a maintenance message bug right now on the PS3.
You may have to check on: store.playstation.com for now if you have the same bug.

EDIT: Also did you actually check in the PlayStation Store or in the Download List in the XMB?
If the Demo and Full Game Unlock don't show up in the Store's Download List, it's gone permanently.

Reply Quirby64_:D, June 29th, 2016, 8:50 pm

@hitkid96fan: >late reply
Yeah, corrupted profile didn't seem that much like the problem because of online account and al that.
I should go check out that link, would help.
No, I didn't actually check the store. Probably should, though.... \.o./

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 8:54 pm

@Quirby64_:D: And now you know. Hope both the PS3 and Store are updated or you will have a long road ahead of you with a 600+ MB game if you don't use the Download Queue (although it's smaller than Resident Evil 2's 757MB and Metal Gear Solid's 780MB).

Oh and if you do have a PlayStation Store bug on PS3. Just uninstall the Store Data using the Triangle button. After that, reinstall it by starting it.

Reply Quirby64_:D, June 29th, 2016, 8:59 pm

@hitkid96fan: >neither are updated
>controller died
>parents are using TV with PS3 connected
WELP, this might take awhile, but thanks!

Reply hitkid96fan, June 29th, 2016, 9:01 pm

@Quirby64_:D: Luckily for you, Download Queue bypasses Store Updates. But not PlayStation 3 updates so have fun.

But I guess since you have found your solution (hopefully), here's a playlist of the game to reminiscence about until you can play it again unless it was deleted out of lack of storage space:
